Poster 1- sky sports premier league
This advert is a poster, you would be likely to see it on billboards or on anything connected to the company ‘sky sports’ when they are promoting the premier league. This could also be seen on social media websites, or potentially on tv at the end or start of a video, this would help to make fans of football on followers of the premier league be excited for the season, as it shows the Main players (at the time of the poster) for the ‘big 6’ teams in England. There is no fonts other than the writing for the sky sports, as that is the logo, which to most sport and football followers in the uk should be recognisable, so this is enough for the target audience, which would primarily be 16-25 year olds but can also be any football fan in the uk, to get a sense of familiarity with the company. The blue background compliments the players standing in the forefront as they really pop out, and due to them all being recognisable everyone will know that they were star players for their respective teams in the premier league.
Poster 2- sky sports f1
This next poster is for the sky sports coverage of Formula 1. It follows a similar format as the premier league poster, however instead of the 6 footballers for the premier league poster, there is 3 big name racers on this one. There’s an orange hue on the background which is a picture of the country itself, in-front of the drivers says Azerbaijan in large white font, and if you look close enough you can see that it says race week behind that, telling the audience that this Grand Prix is going to be in Azerbaijan. At the bottom of the screen it has the sky sports f1 logo, similar to the premier league one, and they both have a very similar look to each other as they follow the same format. From these 2 posters it looks like sky sports style is to have athlete on the front of the poster and have a large photo, so that the target audience can recognise them, and catches their attention so they want to gather more information. The target audience for this poster will be for anybody in the uk who is interested in F1, and sky sports followers in general as the company would want more viewers and be able to generate more money and create a larger target audience/ fan base in doing so.
Poster 3- fox sports
This poster is made by fox sports, and looks as though they are promoting their new sports network, where they are likely to half multiple sports on for each channel, and not be focused on just one. There’s a picture of someone kicking a football in a stadium, and it has been edited to look like the ball has shattered the glass of the camera. Just underneath the ball is the writing ‘where sports goes boom’ and it’s been edited to look like the shattered glass has spelt this out, it really pops out to anyone who may see it on a billboard or on social media. There’s a clear image of the brand and underneath that shows the channels which they will be televising sports on. The background colours are all darker so that the writing that Fox Sports wants the audience to see pops out at them and catches their eye. Fox sports is US based so the target audience would be any us citizen interested in the sports leagues they have in America.
